Job Title: Chef De Partie (Pastry Section)
Job Duties: Controls and monitor pastry section. Oversee, prepare and aid in preparation, baking and presentation of different variety of special desserts such as cake and etc. Assist Sous Chef in checking completeness of all food needed,pastry area, equipment, inventory and delivery. Ensuring that all completed jobs is fully check before leaving the unit. Work closely to the Sous Chef and other cooks to ensure that the function runs smoothly. Delegate duties to baker working in their section. Monitor to make sure dessert quality, presentation and safety standards are being adheres to. Troubleshooting any issues arise in their party section. Working with the Sous Chef and the kitchen team to maintain high standards in the quality of food both as to its preparation and its presentation. Perform other task as assigned and determined by the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent. At least one to four years related experience in pastry. Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, professionals, at and well groomed at all times. Willing to work in flexible shifts,days, evening, weekends and holidays. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Highly qualified in preparing variety of pastries and knowledgeable in food production and processing.Food handler Certified.
