| Job Duties: | Maintains high visibility w/patients, staff & physicians & collaborates w/the interdisciplinary team to facilitate quality care, assist staff to problem solving to be innovative and to seek professional growth, schedules unit staffing levels based on staffing plans and unit acuity, communicates with physician regarding patient issues and concerns, be available during doctor's rounds, assist in the collection/gathering of data for quality improvement initiatives, maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patients and staffs, accurately take and record vital signs and machine parameters throughout the treatment as well as pre and post dialysis, cannulates AVF,AVG and initiate catheters, initiates, monitors and terminates hemodialysis treatment according to established policy and procedures, obtain blood samples for laboratory studies as ordered, responds to alarms and make appropriate adjustments during dialysis, report pertinent adverse observations and incidents to nurse manager, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, carries out medical/nursing orders, in the provision of patient care, administers medications and blood products and records appropriately, participates in the development, implementation and evaluations of patient care plans, assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, participates in all staff in-services and staff meetings, provide leadership and resource role in the provision of patient care, assist in training and orientation of new staff as needed, collaborates with Facility Managaer regarding requisition of unit stocks. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must pass NCLEX-RN and current CNMI RN License, attends a hemodialysis training program and management of hemodialysis inpatient and outpatient care, at least 1-2 years hemodialysis experience and plus three years as a charge nurse in dialysis, in-service train with baxter phoenix machine, experience with ameriwater bicarbonate distribution system, certification in basis cardiopulomnary resuscitation, English language skills proficient in verbal, written and comprehension, must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and must be flexible with time schedule. |
