Job Title: Director of International Business Operations
Job Duties: Partners with the Vice President to assist in the creation and execution of the overall VIP Marketing Strategy. Creates a culture of exceptional service and hospitality focused on the VIP customer segment. Partners with property operational leader in the creation, implementation, and execution of VIP programming, including but not limited to: entertainment, promotions, events and other programs focused on enhancing loyalty and visitation from VIP customer. Provide direction to International Operations Managers and ensure International Department goals are attained. Establish manager’s goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Analyze the performance of actual sales to forecasted sales and advise International Management of large variances. Develop/Implement systems and procedures for foreign country operations to deliver expected service levels and cost objectives.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related required. College course work involving logistics and operations management preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in international business operations, customer service, continuous improvement or related field required, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need.. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction. Candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and English. In addition to, Japanese and/or Korean languages are highly preferred. Must poses excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal and communication skills. International, cross-cultural work experience required with a sensitivity to a multi-cultural global environment, especially in handling matters with staff and Rotarians. Broad understanding of member/customer interaction contact points. Demonstrates strong leadership skills in driving enterprise level initiatives and engagement with local and global senior stakeholders. Proven success in collaborating and influencing multiple functions and groups to achieve desired goals. Strong business acumen and analytic skills with an understanding of international and domestic financials. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.
