Job Title: Vice President for Development, Design & Construction
Job Duties: Facilitating the overall project management including managing and reviewing every single step of the project(s) to ensure that it can be delivered according to the planned schedule. Facilitating the overall project management to review and vetting the external consultants’ output to ensure their output and delivery can be delivered according to the clients’ expectation. Responsible for feasibility study and/or professional advice in the project beginning stage. Responsible for overseeing the design, planning and operations concerns of the projects. Overseeing architectural aspects from inception to project completion stages. Overseeing interior design aspects from inception to project completion stages. Master of construction planning and sequence of works including detailed site planning and logistics. Provide professional advice and assistance in administering and managing the planning and design of construction relative issues, and related technical assessments. Maintain regular and frequent contact with external consultants to ensure that any designs, plans and changes are in sync with the designated overall vision of the project. To be tasked in ensuring all work and changes are compliant with user’s requirements. Follow up on CEO’s instruction for any projects/corporate relative issues. Assist the team to set up corporate standard from design, technical and operator’s aspects. Coordinate with other in-house teams, external consultants and other vendors. Provide professional support and technical advice to the team for any potential and/or assigned projects.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s degree or above will be an added advantage) in Construction and/or Engineering relative discipline. Work Experience: At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in construction firm, preferred from developer and/or lead consultants side with at least five (5) years in departmental-in-charge level. Certification: Professional qualification requested, such as Registered Architect, Chartered Builder, Chartered Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Project Manager, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents.
