| Job Duties: | Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their drinks and take action to correct any problems; Collect payments from customers; Write patrons' orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff or bartender; Prepare checks that itemize total costs and sales taxes; Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages; Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty drinks at tables as required; Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request; Clean tables or counters; Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine; Inform customers of any happy hour specials, new mixed drinks, upcoming events. Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations, and by greeting, seating, and thanking customers; Escort customers to their tables; Describe and recommend wines and other beverages to customers; Provide guests with information about local areas, including giving directions; Stock service areas with supplies such as food, drinks, and linens; Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware; Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning; |

| Qualification Requirements: | Ability to operate the point-of-sale register system, including processing credit card and cash transactions; Ability to communicate in an appropriate professional manner with customers and other employees; Ability to read, comprehend and follow menus and instructions; Knowledge of culinary terminology; Previous retail or food service experience, or formal training via a hospitality or culinary program. Ability to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds throughout an eight hour shift; Ability to balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other; Ability to carry and set up folding table to support particularly heavy orders; Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an eight hour shift; Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying serving trays weighing up to 50 pounds; Visual acuity to see restaurant menus, take customer orders, review customer bills and smoothly navigate dining room, kitchen and other facility areas; Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours. Can work in a very high demand & fast pace environment. Experienced in a club/disco setting preferred. Chinese or Korean speaking is a plus. |
