Job Title: Submarine Hyperbaric Electrical Technician
Job Duties: Installs and repairs electrical and electronic equipment used aboard pressure vessels for human occupancy. Experienced in design, operate and maintain ASME/ PVHO vessels Relate to systems designed utilizing greater than normal pressures. Maintains wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ship/vessel following blueprints and wiring diagrams: supply circuits to radio, radar, sonar and other electronic equipment. Tests electrical characteristics, such as voltage, resistance, and phase angle, in circuits, using voltmeters and other test equipment.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Specialized work experience and documentation is required for operating and supporting tourist submersible operations. Applicants must be physically able to perform efficiently the duties of the position at sea and ashore. Able to work rotating work schedules which may include holidays and week-ends. Applicant must substantiate through documentation proof of specialized training and experience listed below. Applicants will be required complete written and oral interview. At least four (4) years experience required. Bachelor in Science and completed manufacturers training program for this particular class of submersible. Experienced in design, operate, and maintain ASME/PVHO vessels. Relate to systems designed utilizing greater than normal pressure.

Specify All Payroll Deductions: Northern Mariana Islands taxes and Social Security, if applicable, shall be withheld from the employee’s salary each pay period. Employee may request in writing that employer make deductions for group medical insurance for employee’s family members. Employee may also request, in writing, that employer make deductions for any other available insurance, savings plan or allotment, as employee directs.

Comments: Pacific Subsea Saipan Inc. operates 4 passenger vessels including one tourist submersible engaged in tourism. All vessels are operated according to federal regulations (CFR) for passenger vessels. In order to qualify for the positions all applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing and enter into a ongoing drug testing program, additionally applicants possesses CPR and basic first aid certification complying with DOT/USCG as required per 46CFR.
