Job Duties: • Prepare and process legal documents and papers, such as summons, subpoenas, complaints. • Mail, fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials. • Receive and place telephone calls. Organize and maintain law library, documents, and case files. Schedule and make appointments. • Prepare affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system. • Perform bookkeeping work, including itemizing bank information and recording fees and expenses provided for the services rendered. • Verify figures and documents for accuracy of the calculations, data and revise any errors. File pleadings with court clerk.

Qualification Requirements: • High School Diploma (minimum requirement). • Police Clearance with no felony convictions. • CNMI Driver’s License. • Previous related work related experience is advantageous. • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and accounting. • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. • Some understanding or basic knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. • Knowledge of processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
