| Job Duties: | Responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or client. Undertaking cost analysis for repair maintenance project work. Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. Performing risk, value management and cost control. Advising on procurement strategy. Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks. Prepares and analyzes costings for tenders. Allocating work to subcontractors. Provides advice on contractual claims. Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports. Valuing completed work and arranging payments. Maintains awareness of the different building contracts in current use. Understands the implications of health and safety regulations. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in addition to 7 years of relevant experience required. RICS preferred. Knowledge of building, material components, building regulations. Management skills- programming, planning, compiling reports. Word processing and computer skills for record keeping/data entry and report writing; Word and Excel. Knowledge of contractual procedures and responsibilities. Good negotiation, influencing and communication skills; well-spoken and personable; able to get on with diverse personalities. Strong analytical and reasoning abilities. Good organization skills and attention to detail. Highly numerate with well-developed ability to accurately manipulate numerical information. Confident and resourceful. Evidence of maintaining a professional, consistent and fair approach. Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or within a team. |
