| Job Duties: | Job Title: Sales & Marketing Coordinator Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing – PRI Objective: This position is a dual role position that incorporates functionality in both a store environment and an administrative support role. Overall, the position is designed to keep familiar with the daily store functions to provide the insight to administratively support profitable sales growth for all businesses and positioning the businesses for future growth. General Duties: Store: • Able to function independently as a store sales associate when needed to provide the products and services to our customers. This includes, but not limited to: o Mixing and color matching paint; o Recommending products appropriate for a customer’s project; o Addressing any customer issues that may arise; o Assist in project needs such as inspections or customer training o Working knowledge of store’s point of sale system Administrative: • Assist in the set up and maintenance of spreadsheets to expedite the formulation of price quotes for the various products sold; • Recommend ways to improve customer service and value; • Maintain electronic library of various documents commonly needed such as Product Data Sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets, Installation Guides, Warranties etc. • Maintain contact lists (email groups, etc) to assist in mass emails; • Ensure tracking of outstanding price quotes and opportunities; • Work with team for placement, tracking and receiving of product orders; • Assist in various projects related to product education and launches of new products; • Coordinate and assist in product seminars; • Assist in various projects related to the retail set up and programs of the various stores as directed; • Work with software consultant on various issues for POS system to ensure proper categorization of inventory that will result in more detailed and useful sales reports; • Export such POS data to workbook program to produce timely reports; • Conduct competitive market research and relay information back to team; • Work with Freight Forwarders and shippers in tracking orders to ensure timely delivery of products; • Maintain good working knowledge of top selling products; • Participate in hands on training of products as deemed necessary and from time to time; • Submit weekly reports or as needed; • Attend weekly sales meetings to review sales results and opportunities; • Attend and participate in various community and organizational functions as needed in order to maintain market presence; • Work in cooperation with various operations managers to ensure smooth sales flow; • Complete tasks as assigned by Director of Sales Necessary skills / traits / experience: • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to work under pressure; • Aptitude to learn and retain information; • Willingness to work in a team environment; • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; • Ability to work on weekends or holidays; • Must have good reliable transportation; |
