Job Title:	Sanitation Worker
Job Duties:	•Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. •Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces. •Washes pots, pans, and trays. •Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. •Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. •Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. •Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans. •Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. •Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food. •Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. •Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas. •Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. •Cleans rugs, carpets and furniture. •Dusts furniture and equipment. •Polisher metalwork. •Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. •Washes windows, door panels, and sills. •Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. •Transports trash and waste to disposal area. •Replenishes bathroom supplies. •Replaces light bulbs. •Cuts and trims grass when necessary. •Transports small equipment or tools between departments. •Sets up tables and chairs. •Performs other duties as may be required by the mission of the company.

Qualification Requirements:	•Must be able to speak English language. •Must have good organizational skills. •Must be dependable and flexible. •Must be familiar with the sanitation and hygiene requirements set by the company, airlines and local legislation. •Must be familiar with all chemical properties and applications. •Must be familiar with the operation of cleaning equipment. •Must have the ability to work in arduous position. •Must have the ability to carry garbage containers weighting between 25 to 35 pounds. EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); or any equivalent combination of experience and training beyond high school which provided the preferable knowledge, abilities and skills.
