Job Title: Sous Chef
Job Duties: Plan the food design to create a perfect match between the dish's feature and its taste. Work with the General Manager/Executive chef to produce creative menus in accordance with the restaurant's policy and vision. Make high quality dishes that can be added to the menu to level up the standards. Develop a cross-marketing strategy to increase profit. Ensure that the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation, including ingredients and finished products. Assure that the professional equipment is in good condition and inform the staff of any malfunctions. Establish a working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen to maintain order and discipline during work hours.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Sous chefs are required to have formal culinary training. Must have at least 2 years work experience.
