| Job Duties: | Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on the application and consequences of applying new and existing relevant accounting requirements. Ensure development and production of accurate and timely financial reports to be used for internal management reporting (eg Directors, Senior Executive Management and Business Unit management). Manage an effective and efficient month-end closing and reporting process, utilizing increased automation/technology. Develop and maintain appropriate reporting systems and processes, ensuring the needs of internal and external customers are satisfied. Ensure the highest levels of service to Business Units and Departmental management in the provision of financial reporting that satisfies their business needs. Assist in identifying areas of opportunity and ensuring that the activities of the Financial Controller Department are consistent with the achievement of Company objectives. Develop, maintain and review policies and procedures pertaining to Financial and Management Accounting and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. Promote the development and enhancing of the general ledger software package ensuring optimal use of available technologies. Provide assistance to the business analysis group, ensuring company wide policies and procedures are adhered to. Assist in the annual budgeting process. Ensure the development of our people through recruitment, training and development. • Assist in managing the interface between the various sources of financial information (eg Casino Control, Cage and Count, Operations Control etc.) and management reporting system to ensure accurate and timely management reporting. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a finance management role, with both professional and commercial experience preferable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction Comprehensive knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS. Advanced knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite of products and Oracle (preferable). Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken). |
