Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Duties: Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Manage staff: supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting. Accomplished accounting human resource objectives. Communicate job expectations: planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions. Plan and review compensation actions. Enforce policies and procedures. Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Prepare and complete action plans. Implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends. Determine system improvements and implement change. Meet accounting financial objectives. Prepare annual budget. Schedule expenditures. Analyze variances, initiate corrective actions. Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses. Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data. Prepare social reports. Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures. Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy. Apply observations and recommendations to operational issues. Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation. Enforce accounting regulations and recommend new procedures. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Participate in professional organizations. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts. Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.

Qualification Requirements: College degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration and five (5) years of progressive financial management experience. Minimum of three (3) years experience in directing the preparation of financial reports and implementing cash management activities. Proficient in the use of SAP R3 Financial and Controlling (FICO) system and Microsoft software. Able and willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
