Job Title: Human Resource Assistant
Job Duties: Assist in processing, verifying, and maintaining personnel related documentation, including staffing. Recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications and employee leaves of absence. Explaining company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants in the absence of the HR Supervisor. Examining employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions. Assist in compiling and preparing reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities. Requesting information from previous employers and other references to determine applicant’s employment acceptability. Assist in processing and reviewing employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants. Assist in Arranging for advertising or posting of job vacancies, and notifying eligible workers of positions availability. Reviewing timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies and submit it to the supervisor for verification. Verifying attendance, hours worked and adjustments, and post information on the designated records. Keeping track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave for employees. Entertain inquiries from the applicants and give detail and accurate response. Maintain company and office bulletin boards in an up to date and legal compliance manner. Assist in Arranging for in house and external training activities. Perform other related duties.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one to two years of work related experienced. Ability to maintain highly confidential nature of human resources work and posses highest degree of integrity and trustworthiness. Knowledge of the EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations. Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiations and personnel information system. Knowledgeable in processing various working permit or visa. Computer literate, has analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to influence others and manage change. Willing to work in extreme weather conditions and flexible to work on shifts, weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service and human relations skills.
