Job Title: Manager of Employee Relations
Job Duties: Assist to develop proactive employee relations programs, initiatives and welfare activities Manage a proactive employee relations climate. Provide advice, counsel, and guidance to line departments Provide Human Resources advice, counsel and guidance to management, applying good judgment and establishing credibility Communicate timely and effectively to all levels of employees when issues arise; handle group communication effectively, hearing all sides of issues Assist in coaching managers to handle employee relations issues and to comply with law, either in one-on-one, group or team sessions Assist in overseeing the issue management process, including modifications and changes to policy and procedures Assist Employee Relations Director in ad-hoc tasks and/or assignments as and when required.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any related degree a plus. Work Experience: Seven (7) years of direct experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work. Experience in the Gaming Industry is a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction Experience in counseling employees of all levels Well versed with employment ordinance and local labor legislations Possess excellent interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence Knowledge of computerized information systems used in HR applications Able to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner High-quality judgment and sound decision making skills Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken). Any additional language would be an advantage.
