| Job Duties: | Visits resorts to ascertain accommodation quality and suitability. Liaises with coach operators, airlines, hoteliers and resort reps. Maintains service levels, contracts and costs. Confirms customer names with airlines/hotels. Collects, evaluates and responds (as appropriate) to customer feedback. Uses market research information to guide decisions. Produces brochures and Internetbased information. Provides pricing information. Markets holidays to clients via travel agents, websites, brochures and television advertising. Handles bookings, invoicing and issuing of tickets. Predicts profits or number of bookings. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Associate’s degree in leisure, travel, tourism, management, marketing, Information Technology (IT), business, languages or hotel and catering management. Relevant professional or vocational qualifications, such as NVQ’s and HND’s preferred. Preentry experience gained working with the general public or within the hotel, tourism or travel trades (particularly overseas) preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience. |
