| Job Duties: | Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates and supervises security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel. Assists in preparing reports related to security. Evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security. Develops alternative methods for security operation improvement. Coordinates activities within security area. Prepares periodic budget estimate and reports. Develops preventative security programs, including the supervision of security personnel. Performs audits of security related performance and conducts physical surveys of premise security, including security equipment condition. Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures. Assists in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning. Initiates personnel actions such as recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions and discipline or dismissal measures. Resolves work grievances or submits unsettled grievances to the management. Prepares work schedules; assigns or delegates responsibilities. Sets deadlines to ensure completion of operational security functions. Interprets and disseminates company policy to security personnel. Performs other activities as assigned by the Director of Security. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement or a Security related field is an advantage. Minimum 5 relevant years' experience in a Hotel/Casino Security environment. Law enforcement experience is an advantage. Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), PowerPoint. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken). |
