Job Title: Manager - IT Projects
Job Duties: Work with business users and his/her supervisor to develop and manage master plan for all projects including assigned resources, ‎outputs and timelines. Maintain awareness of program status, so that to manage the projects to be completed on time and on budget. Identify, resolve, escalate (as required) and alert both his/her supervisor and Management of any project issues and/or risks, and ensure timely resolution to avoid negative ‎impacts on the projects. Also, able to handle and report any unsolved issues to management in a timely manner. Identify the impact of project changes on other projects and minimize the impact. Manage the projects in reducing the risk of projects and improving the quality of projects started and completed. Work with his/her Supervisor to ensure each individual projects implementation efforts are aligned with the overall project ‎objectives. Lead work teams consisting of members from different groups in the IT and user Departments effectively to support the implementation of system projects. Perform effective monitoring and control of project progress across multiple projects. Also, ensure effective cross-project communication. Coordinate the resolution of cross-project issues and interdependencies. Work with his/her supervisor to perform vendor management effectively for achieving expected result from vendor. Ensure Effective Coordination and Communication, such as providing standard templates and tools to all projects to ensure consistent reporting of project progress status and to ‎facilitate decision making. Work with his/her supervisor to fulfill and achieve PMO’s role and responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements: College Degree holder in Computer Science or Information Technology Related Curriculum a minimum. Minimum 7 years in IT business analysis and/or system development with demonstrating at least 3 years’ experience of project management in a supervisory / managerial role in a sizable enterprise or casino. Managing large IT projects, preferably in a large casino. Any Business Related or Technology Related certification(s) is a plus. Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), PowerPoint, presentation. In-depth knowledge of casino operation and associated business processes desirable. Extensive exposure and good understanding of Operations Support Systems in a large casino industry. Extensive IT process development with awareness of compliance issues. Strong and wide knowledge in PMI project management standards and terminologies. PMP Certificate is plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
