| Job Duties: | ·Fissurotomies and pit and fissure sealants on primary and permanent teeth. ·Pulp vitality testing; ·Application of desensitizing agents on primary or permanent teeth; ·Placement of temporary restorations on primary or permanent teeth; ·Simple restorations on primary teeth; ·Placement and removal of restorative bands; ·Occlusal shaping, adjustment, and polishing of fillings on primary or permanent teeth; ·Administration of topical and local anesthetic; ·Administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide; ·Fabrication and cementation of temporary crowns on permanent teeth; ·Placement of pre-formed crowns on primary teeth; ·Placement and removal of space maintainers on primary teeth; ·Suture removal and dressing changes; ·Impressions for, and delivery of, occlusal guards, athletic mouth guards, and whitening trays (but not laser bleaching); ·Impressions for removable prosthetics; ·Tissue conditioning and soft reline for removable prosthetics; ·Repair, try-in, and adjustment of removable prosthesis; ·Recementation of permanent crowns, inlays, or onlays; ·Dispensing medications as ordered by the dentist; and ·Observation and monitoring of patients under sedation; |
