Job Title: Surveillance Operator
Job Duties: Responsible for using the CCTV and associated systems to monitor activities in the casino and other areas. Detect occurrences of cheating and illegal or suspicious activities. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and within the realm of company’s Mission Statement. • Use the CCTV and associated equipment to monitor activities in the casino and other areas. Detect inaccuracies and suspicious and illegal activities. Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property. Use the in house software applications. Report writing and completing documentation. Follow instructions as to duties to be undertaken. Interact with internal customers via the telephone. Maintain a strong understanding of procedures of both the surveillance and other departments. Follow department SOPs. Perform other associated duties as assigned. Ensure that all tasks, assignments, projects either generated by a supervisor or self-generated are completed to department standards.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Successful candidate shall have the ability to coach and mentor less experienced surveillance personnel. Previous rotating shift work experience preferred. Basic understanding MS Office (Word and Excel). Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred. Must possess excellent observational and communication skills. Must be able to detect schemes or cheating activity aimed at the casino or its guests. Knowledge of cheating and illegal activities in casino. Ability to work in a closed confidential environment and concentrate for extended periods of time. Good Math’s skills. Not color blind. Attention to details. This position requires a Gaming License. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
