Job Title: Security Safety Officer
Job Duties: Assist the Risk & Safety Manager to set up a strategic plan to assure the safety and security of the property’s guests and Team Members in case of emergencies. Analyze daily events and issues related to occupational health and safety. Implement preventative measures to avoid potentially hazardous accidents. Be alert and anticipate potential problems and hazards on fire and safety on the property by setting up a daily inspection routine of all fire equipment on property. Develop, implement and monitor preventative measures to avoid potentially hazardous accidents. Work closely with the Engineer Department to ensure all systems are properly maintained. Review incident and accident investigation reports. Assist and perform duties assigned by the Risk & Safety Manager.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Associate’s Degree or comparable experience of similar capacity is an advantage. Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience involving risk/safety management and analysis or related field. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Willing to work unscheduled shifts on short notice. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
