Job Title: Information Technology Quality Assurance Tester
Job Duties: Analyzes and understands requirements, devise a test strategy to adequately cover the requirements, develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases. Review test artifacts with QA team members, and edit accordingly Own the QA role throughout all projects by: gathering requirements, writing and executing tests (manual and automatic), monitoring test progress, reporting status, logging defects, tracking and testing defect fixes, retesting and delivering Work with user and partner teams to develop automated test scripts and extend the automation infrastructure Collaborate with the business and development teams to produce requirements that are well-documented and clear Maintain subject matter expertise for the systems under test and use that expertise to create, maintain and extend the test case library Participate in team process improvement to make sure everyone understands development lifecycle

Qualification Requirements: Education: Graduation from High School. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines desirable. Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of Quality Assurance experience. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including queries, data mining and validation. Certification: Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation. Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills Effectively communicate issues with software and propose solutions Thorough knowledge of QA theory and methodology Can define and execute different types of testing Experience with test automation and one or more of the industry standard test Automation Tools Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents.
