| Job Duties: | Prepares, seasons, and cook soup, meat, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuff for the consumption in the restaurant. Reads menu to estimate food requirement and orders food from the supplier or procure it from the storage. Measures and mixes ingredients according to the recipe using variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, such as blenders and mixers. Adds seasoning to food during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience. Carves meat, portions of food on serving plates, add gravies, sauces and garnishes servings to fill orders. May wash, peel, cut and shred vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use. Do other related duties. |
