Job Title: Information Technology Manager
Job Duties: Responsible for all I.T. systems within the hotel.• Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in computer operations. • Plans and develops policies and procedures for carrying out computer operations. • Ensures the security and integrity of the Information System by ensuring all anti-virus and fire wall software is up to date and operating correctly. • Ensures that all backup – redundancy procedures are effective and there are adequate plans in place to cope with an IT disaster. • Meets with subordinates to discuss progress of work, resolves problems, ensures that the standards for quality and quantity are met. Provide training for all Opera users. Consults with software and hardware vendors and other establishment workers to solve problems concerning computer processing. Configures and maintains the hotel's property management system (PMS) - Opera System. Extracts data from Opera using Crystal Reports Software. Develops systems budgets for all departments and plans for new equipment purchases. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of I.T. industry experience and Bachelors degree in IT related field required. Thorough knowledge of all software and hardware is required, this includes all Microsoft Windows desktop and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft application support, Opera System, SQL 2008 administration skills, Symantec Product experience with Ghost, ACT! And corporate anti-virus software, Access database, Crystal Report XI and report design skills with IIS, ASP and HTML Skills. Linux skills and Active Directory experience is highly desirable. Experience in the use of electronic mail (mail relays, spam filters and mail integrity) and Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, PPP and IMAP). Sound knowledge of routers, firewalls, network security, network configuration and construction, switches and fiber is required. Applicant should have in depth knowledge of VPN, VPN encryption, PC and server hardware, new PC and server installations, configuration and support of IP Phone Systems, System backups and general network administration. A+, Network +, and/or MCP certification are also highly desirable. Should be knowledgeable in utilizing a hotel database. Must have a thorough working knowledge of web programming and systems analysis. Must have general management ability as well as specific knowledge of the company’s computer/network systems. Must be able to communicate with all department heads in the company that require computer and network systems. Must be able to translate the requirements of each department into a workable computer operation. Must keep up with new developments in computers, Networking and (VOIP) voice over IP equipment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support a 24hr business
