| Job Duties: | • Perform mechanic overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming • Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic testing equipment • Braze or solder parts to repair defective joints and leaks • Adjust or replace worn or defective mechanism and parts, reassemble repaired system • Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping specific gas or fluid into the system • Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions Lay out reference points for installation of structural and functional components using measuring instruments |

| Qualification Requirements: | * High School Diploma or GED * Has completed Refrigeration & A/C vocational school training * Must have a current Refrigerant Containment Certificate – Level I & II * Must have knowledge of ref & A/C machines and tools including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance * Minimum of five years experience as Ref and A/C Technician * Must pass pre-employment trade test * Willing to work flexible days/hours including holidays * Must have a CNMI driver’s license *pre-employment Police clearance required |
