| Job Duties: | • Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manage within those approved plans • Handle incoming calls from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.) • Responsible for recording company/travel agent rates both in system and correspondence file • Monitoring telephone manner and general performance of reservations staff daily • Liaise with Sales/Marketing department in regards to occupancy, rates reservation’s analysis • Manage, coach and develop all team members within the department to ensure competence, performance and succession objectives are met • Manage departmental and individual absenteeism and turnover levels to meet targets • Develop and organize appropriate training to ensure competency standards are maintained • Ensure guest history records and general guest information have been identified and accurately recorded in the system • Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands • Identify top producing accounts to ensure proper recognition by reservation staffs • Maintain excellent communication with the all supporting departments • Maintain current product knowledge of events and facilities to ensure guests receive accurate, timely information and advice • Through leadership and supervision encourage behaviors that promote health and safety responsibility, accountability and awareness • Having knowledge of entire reservation procedure according to International hotel manual system • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • Perform other related duties as assigned |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Must have one or two years management level experience in reservation operations in a 5 star hotel / well known property • Bachelor’s Degree Holder or equivalent working experience • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Knowledge of Hotel Property Management System (preferably Opera) • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to communicate in Asian languages (either Chinese, Korean or Japanese) • Ability to multi-task |
