| Job Duties: | Plans and administers sales policies and programs to foster and promote hotel patronage: Consults newspapers, trade journals, and other publications to learn about contemplated conventions and social functions. Organizes prospect files by listing information, such as names of officials and plans for conventions, to be used for promotional purposes. Directs workers engaged in preparing promotional correspondence with travel bureaus, business and social groups. Confers with department heads to discuss and formulate plans for soliciting business. Contacts executives of organizations to explain services and facilities offered by hotel and to solicit their business. Supervises and trains service representatives. Plans and prepares advertising and promotional material and arranges for newspapers other publicity. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Knowledge: Must have working knowledge of the following: hotel operations; departmental planning; conceptualization; development and coordination of projects; guest relations; sports ethic/rules; sports techniques; first aid and life-saving techniques; computer operation; marketing/promotions; people management; different cultures and nationalities Skills: Must have hands-on experience and solid skills in sports administration; strategic planning of projects; project development; project management; group dynamics; budgeting and costing events organizing; time-management; problem-solving; oral and written communication; good interpersonal relationship. Must be able to lead, manage, and motivate staff. Must have ability to work effectively with international stag. Must be able to work under pressure and in a team environment. Must be able to converse in English and Japanese. Personal Qualities: Must be a team player, well-organized, professional disposition, professional appearance, good social skills, mature, responsible, open-minded, flexible, and with outgoing personality. Position Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree graduate, plus a minimum of three continuous years experience in sales & marketing at managerial capacity, in a five-star hotel, club, or resort. |
