| Job Duties: | Mechanical Engineer sought by DFS Saipan Ltd in Saipan, CNMI to perform maintenance of DFS Saipan’s power plant operation. Maintain the company’s reverse osmosis water system. Maintain the Cooling System for DFS Saipan’s facilities, including Galleria, Comete Center and Airport Shop. Maintain the Galleria’s retail space inclusive of leased vendors, totaling 94,000 square feet. Review and analyze operational data of machineries and equipment on a regular basis to ensure functioning properly. Review all equipment failure and perform immediate engineering remedies. Perform periodic review to propose improvements, modifications and upgrades as needed to mitigate future failures. Clean chiller tubes annually or once approach temperatures have been met. Maintain 30 hours of training sessions every 3 years ensuring guidelines for the Safe Drinking Water Act set by EPA. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. *Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Special Requirements Experience providing mechanical engineering services for facility maintenance. Knowledge with reverse osmosis for consumer consumption. Taking daily reading for PH balance and total dissolved solids. Making necessary changes including the addition or reduction with chemical balance such as sodium hypochlorite, sodium metabisulphite, bromine and corrosion inhibitors. Monitoring and maintaining chiller plant room with associated equipment including pumps and cooling towers. Monitoring cooling towers with corrosion inhibitors and chemical feed insuring non bacteria growth. Ability to maintain and replace pumps and seals as recommended by the manufacturer. |
