Job Title: Operation Manager
Job Duties: • Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products • Direct administrative activities directly related to making products or providing services. • Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties • Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with board members, organization officials, or staff members • Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation • Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, or sustainability of operations • Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions. • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity • Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records • Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new staff, and evaluate employee performance in dining and lodging facilities. • Monitor employee and patron activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed. • Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services, such as waste removal and pest control • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
