Job Title: Executive Assistant Chef
Job Duties: Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food; select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality; establish presentation technique and quality standards; plan and price menus; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen. May oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques. The executive assistant chef supervises kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Reports to the food service director and executive chef.

Qualification Requirements: Ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the facility, the brand and the Company. •Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency. •Skilled in problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training. •Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. •one or two years experience as a chef including at least one or two years in supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Chinese cuisine with noodle specialization preferred. •Pre-opening experience is required. •Able to speak Chinese and English.
