Job Title: Director – VIP Client Services
Job Duties: • Lead the entire team towards the goal of service excellence and the mission to deliver extraordinary experiences • Ensure all arriving and departing guests are treated with maximum courtesy and are served expeditiously by VIP Client Services staff • Provide the team with all necessary resources to ensure guests’ satisfaction • Ensure that the entire department operates with the scope of a budget and well-defined practices • Monitor all guest requests to ensure they are met within the prescribed time limits • Ensure all needed reports and checklists are run and completed • Effectively coach and counsel associates as needed and complete performance evaluations • Ensure proper budgeting and maximize hotel revenue by ensuring hotel yield management strategies are adhered to and in accordance with hotel business plan objectives • Liaise with other key departments across the hotel and delegate tasks as required to ensure the entire team meet operational requirements • Monitor the training and development needs of staff and develop and organize appropriate training to ensure competency standards are maintained • Continually look to improve and develop departmental procedures in order to increase efficiency and productivity and improve service to guests • Maintain high overall guest satisfaction in all areas and high quality guest service standards • Maintain consistent and effective communication to all departmental managers and staff • Good control of Profit & Loss and budget of the department • Produce and provide relevant VIP Client Services operations’ reports, statistics and analysis • Conduct and maintain a good guest amenities program • Provide proper training and guidelines and to periodically check on the service quality rendered by the team members • Through leadership and supervision encourage behaviors that promote health and safety responsibility, accountability and awareness • Maintain consistent and effective communication to all departmental managers and staff • Review and refine job descriptions, SOP’s and training plans to suit actual operating conditions • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and team member satisfaction • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Must have 8 years’ management level experience in hotel operations at a 5 star hotel / cruise/ well known property • Bachelor’s Degree Holder or equivalent working experience • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Ability to multi-task
