| Job Duties: | Determine map content and layout, as well as production specification such as scale, size, projection, and colors and direct production to ensure that specification are follows Inspect final composition to ensure completeness and accuracy Revise existing maps and charts, making all necessary correction and adjustment Complete data required for map presentation, including aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports and original map Prepare and alter trace map, charts, tables, detailed drawing, and three dimensional optical models of terrain using stereoscope plotting and computer graphic equipment Build and update digital database Examine and analyze data from ground survey, report, aerial photographs, and satellite image to prepare topographic maps aerial photograph mosaics and related charts Identify scale elevation and applying standard mathematical formulas Determine guideline that specify which source material is acceptable for use Record the result of survey including the shape, contour, location elevation and dimension of land or land feathers |
