Job Title: Bartender
Job Duties: 1. Collect money for drinks and served. 2. Check the identification of customers to verify the age requirements for purchase of alcohol. 3. Clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment. 4. Balance cash receipts. 5. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. 6. Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. 7. Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters, in order to prepare cocktails and other drinks. ] 8. May serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar. 9. Order or requisition liquors and supplies. 10. Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks. 11. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. 12. Plan, organize and control the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar. 13. May assist in planning bar menu. 14. Perform other task as assigned and determined by the F&B Manager or Supervisor.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one year experienced working as a Bartender. Knowledge in different variety of cocktail, tropical, alcoholic or non-alcohol drinks. Must be able to create and possess broad ideas for mixing, creating and serving drinks. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. A "People Person", acquired hospitality related program and speaking additional languages preferred but not required. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including handling large group of customers. Computer literate. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Able to obtain Food Handler Certification.
