Job Title: Audio and Video Equipment Technician
Job Duties: Design layouts of audio and video equipment, and any other multimedia system/components involved in the project, in accordance to both technical, functional and customer requirements. Setup, configuration, programming and commissioning of hardware and software for the backend/backbone of the audio and video systems involved in the project. Inspection and testing of audio and video components and hardware, diagnose and resolve media system problems, and to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with relevant codes. Assist firstline supervisor to ensure relevant installation and programming of audio and video systems fit to the technical and functional needs, provide consultancy, co-ordination and technical support to audio and video systems installers during daily project operations. Provide documentations, conduct training sessions on selection, operate, maintenance, upgrade and design of audio and video systems involved in the project for customer and their representatives.

Qualification Requirements: Associate's degree, relevant moderate-term on-the-job training. Minimum of one or two years working experiences as an audio and video equipment technician. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Knowledge of advanced audio and video hardware and software, including applications and programming, familiar with the function, structure, principle, performance, operation and maintenance of audio and video systems. Knowledge of design and visualizations software for design of audio and video systems. Knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft office. Ability to follow engineering instructions and diagram, rules and regulations. Ability to read and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Ability of analytical thinking and complex problem solving. Ability to understand relevant terminology in (Chinese) is preferred; Ability of oral Chinese speaking is a plus. Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner. Willing to follow instructions and orders from superiors; Willing to work closely with other colleagues, especially with Chinese colleagues; Must have a good team work spirits. Must be physically fit and able to work in shifts.
