Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Job Duties: • Inspect and verify goods delivered for quality, quantity, weight, trim etc. Ensure that items which are packed in ice and water are weighed without ice and water. • Ensure that items are kept in a secured area until delivered to the respective department/stores. • Match invoice or delivery note to purchase order, request or market list. Do not accept unauthorized merchandise. • Inform Purchasing Manager and Cost Controller of any deficiencies and mistakes and amend invoice or delivery note accordingly (depend on each location regulation). • Input into the system all goods received daily and print receiving report for the Purchasing Manager and Cost Controller. • Receiving area should be clear and orderly at all times. • Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the receiving area at all times. • Inform the Executive Chef or designated assistant immediately when frozen or perishable goods are delivered. • Deliver goods to the respective kitchens, outlets or departments in an efficient manner. • Coordinate deliveries with vendors and ensure driveway is clear. • Participate and assist with the month-end inventory process. • Successfully complete any training certification for this position. • Assist with other Accounting job functions as assigned • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • High school diploma required, college degree or equivalent in related field preferred • 1 year or above of experience in a hotel store or receiving operation • Ability to communicate in English with guests/visitors/vendors and hotel staff to their understanding. • Ability to provide legible communication. • Ability to compute mathematical calculations. :Working Conditions: • Alternate workweek schedule; may require to work on weekends and holidays. • Ability to input and access data into the Hotel System. • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent hotel data. • Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time. • Must be able to multi-task :Physical Requirement: • Ability to lift 50 lbs
