| Job Duties: | Job Summary – (Role Summary) Supports the Food and Beverage Service team by performing serving of beverages and food to guest including mise en place of food preparation, set up of functions, set up of food and beverage equipment, bar operations, cashiering, and assisting with the preparation of service. Cashier duties including handling, billing, and receiving of payments, in an accurate and professional manner which ensures guest satisfaction and minimizes losses to the facility. Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities of the Role) Greets the guest with a friendly expression of acknowledgement and good wishes. Possesses knowledge of the wine list, menu, and specialty services when applicable. Helps patrons: select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails and aperitifs, suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate wines, Answering food preparation questions. Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices, identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests. Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. Establishes good kitchen relations. Enters sales in POS system and processes guest payment transactions accurately and closes out table Balances all payments methods with accuracy to sales report Keeps work area clean and stocked at all times. Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Completes side work before, during, and after shift. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs. Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Mise en Place and Food Preparation. Assist with receiving and storage of goods. Clean and maintain equipment and premises. Maintain hygienic standards and procedures. Assist with preparation of functions and service. Assist with cellar operations. Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including: Cleaning of equipment, Sorting of stores equipment, Cleaning and maintain glassware for service, Cleaning and maintain flatware for service, Cleaning and maintain china for service, Preparing waiter stations, Preparing buffer service, Preparing service equipment and materials, Assisting with table preparations. Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships. Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled. Professionally handle billing enquiries and payment of bills in compliancy with the facility’s established policies and procedures Strictly adhere to the facility’s established policies and procedures with regard to the handling of payments, credit, house funds, and shift hand over. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Required Skills – Demonstrated ability to interact with customers and employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the facility, the brand, and the Company. Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handlers card as required by local government policy Skilled in problem solving and training. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Must be able to speak, read, and write in Mandarin. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to serve alcoholic beverage and have knowledge on the area. Excellent guest service and hospitality skills. Self motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry up to (30) pounds at a time. Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting. Ability to work in an environment where pipe, cigar, and cigarette smoking is permitted. Ability to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously. Ability to function and act independently. Ability to work well with people, in a team, environment, and to communicate effectively both written and oral. Ability to function in a fast space environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines. Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications – High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Obtain/maintain alcohol awareness certification and food handler’s permit. Experience – Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant and bar operations preferred. Must have 1 year serving experience in a high volume restaurant. |
