| Job Duties: | Duties and Responsibilities a)Maintain and do repairs on office/residential buildings including machines, equipment, and air conditioning units. b)Build partitions, make plaster or wall repairs, fix or paint roofs, aluminum window glass and screens, doors, floors, woodwork and other parts of building structures. c)Estimate, install and/or repair ceramic, wooden or vinyl tiles. Estimate requirement of volume or ready mix cement and/or number of hollow blocks needed for a given project or major repair of certain structures and do the actual construction job. d)Repair furniture including painting and varnishing job using spray and paintbrush. Cut and trim grasses, rake leaves, trim hedges and trees. e)Repair fences, gates, walls and walkways using carpentry and masonry tools. f)Clean out drainage, sewer pipes, ditches, and culvert using shovel, rakes and other tools. g)Clean ground and remove litter. h)Clean and maintain swimming pool. Throw household trash. Paint fences, signs, interior and exterior of buildings. i)May perform other related duties. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum 1-2 years job related experience is required. Specific skills-based competences required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job including: operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools, etc.; adhering to safety practices; handling hazardous materials. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other sturctures. Must be able to perform troubleshooting and determine causes of operating errors and performing the repairs. Must be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. |
