Job Title: Clerk, Front Desk (Korean speaking)
Job Duties: Receives, registers hotel guests and issues room keys to them at the front desk. Reports to and works for the supervisor on duty. Receives inquiries, requests and complaints pertaining to hotel services from hotel guests, and submits them to the supervisor on duty. Responsible for handling or assisting in an efficient and professional manner for the front desk and related sections pertaining to Korean guests. Receives money from customers and employees, secures it in cash register, and disburses correct amounts of change. Records monetary transactions including credit sales. Delivers packages, amenities, messages, and other items to hotel guests, and performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some work experience in hospitality industry required preferably in large hotels. Knowledge of hotel property management systems required. Excellent command of written and spoken both English and Korean required. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese is an advantage. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to maintain courteous and friendly demeanor under stressful circumstances. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.
