| Job Duties: | Coordinate DM work order execution; Prepare scopes of work, descriptions, specifications, and budget estimates for various types of repair and maintenance services needed to initiate project contracting and procurement; Review cost estimates, plans, and specifications to ensure appropriateness of proposed work; Perform onsite observation of construction work in progress to ensure projects are being executed as planned and contracted; Maintain an accurate accounting of work ordered and performed, and of the expenses incurred [more at: http://www.hhf.com/about/careers/] e. | Qualification Requirements: | Proficiency in developing scopes of work, construction project specifications, and preparing cost estimates; Technical knowledge, human relations skill, and excellent verbal and written communication skills; Extensive background in construction oversight, standard building practices, and physical plant management; General knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems to be able to direct licensed personnel in their specialties; Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, to coordinate and monitor construction maintenance and repair projects, and validate budgets; Ability to function effectively in emergency situations and with changing priorities; Personal transportation and ability to conduct light field work duties like documenting contractor progress on school construction projects (including roof inspection and measurement for repair projects). |
