Job Duties:	 Bosun is the leader of the deck team.  Bosun is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the exterior of the yacht. The deckhand’s responsibility includes everything outside, on top of, and underneath the vessel. Specifically including painting, stripping, varnishing, waxing, awlgrip, cleaning engines, and maintaining the various water toys aboard, which include jet skis, tenders, sailing dinghies, etc. All deckhands pitch in and assist with interior cleaning and service when guests are aboard.

Qualification Requirements:	 Previous experience in service related area is highly preferred  STCW-95 is required  Tender driving ability – a Power Boating Level II license may be required  The Yacht Rating Certificate may be required once the MCA rules come into effect  Equivalent professional experience as a yacht deckhand  Basic mechanical skills, watch standing skills  Knowledge of basic seamanship, line handling, and exterior maintenance (varnish, paint, products, etc.) are preferred  Deck license is an advantage  Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills  Excellent attitude in learning  Able to work under pressure  Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis  Fluent in English
