| Job Duties: | Direct and is involved in the preparation, seasoning and cooking of foods, such as, cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods in hotel's Restaurant. Supervises cooks in day-to-day operation. Carries out instructions given by Executive Chef. Responsible for maintaining code of ethics in relation with hygiene in kitchen outlets. Write duty schedules of department. Assists sections heads in organizing the outlet efficently. Liases on efficiencies, trends, menu implementation, operation costs. Conducts and assists training programs to all kitchen staff on services, job knowledge, operation, equipment and daily requirements. Maintains clean and orderly work areas. Requisitions food, equipment and supplies, giving specifications, quantities and quality descriptions. |
