| Job Duties: | • Prepare and distribute monthly actual vs. budget report to departmental managers and review variances with managers and plant controller • Develop overhead and burden rates on a quarterly basis for the company. • Prepare daily panel management report for management meeting which includes reconciling daily sales activity by platform, reconciling daily labor, and reconciling account activity for ledger accounts that drive operational performance • Analyze standard costs and review variances including preparation of monthly volume/mix/price variance • Review all transactions associated with inventory including scrap, cycle counting, and inventory obsolescence • Work closely with purchasing and central costing on ensuring that all purchased components are costed in the system and ensure that pricing reflects suppliers’ most recent PO’s • Work directly with Logistics on tracking all spot-buy PO’s • Track and account for production material purchases that are booked to manufacturing consumables and perform required adjusting journal entries as needed • Prepare appropriation requests and the justification of same for capital expenditures to ensure that the funds are being requested in accordance with corporate guidelines • Analyze all construction in progress (CIP) projects to ensure that all costs that have been spent are billed and posted • Responsible for capitalizing fixed assets • Responsible for asset disposals and transfers • Maintain and reconcile the daily cash book activity / daily purchase burden and report any variances to appropriate management • Responsible for all account reconciliations and month end close process • Responsible for booking and tracking all inter-company material transfers • Responsible for booking and recording all journal entries including monthly accruals and reclassifications within the corporate close guidelines |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline is required. • At least 4 years of experience in a financial reporting role within a private company. Public accounting experience within a Big 4 firm or national firm a plus. Experience at a government contractor a plus. • Ability to access and accurately input information using company software. • Must have considerable knowledge with basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.) and accounting functions. Job cost and construction experience will be key for this position. • Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision. • Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines. • Must have excellent organizational skills. • Must be proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications. |
