| Job Duties: | A fabric sales associate is expected to help customers select the ideal materials for projects. Fabric sales associates are also responsible for cutting fabrics to a customer's desired length and should be able to complete a purchase as a cashier. The sales associate is up-to-date on a store's sales and promotions. An ideal fabric sales associate is flexible and available to work different shifts, including some nights, weekends and holidays. |

| Qualification Requirements: | A fabric sales associate should be able to relate to customers by possessing sewing skills and knowledge in different fabric types. This person is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills and is able to work well---plus multitask---under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to know how to coordinate fabrics and pair them with the appropriate tools and accessories. A sales associate is also required to suggest appropriate sewing patterns and sewing supplies to help a customer complete a project. |
