| Job Duties: | 1. Manage Human Resources staff members’ day to day performance 2. Act as a business and strategic partner to the operation leaders in order to achieve hotel metrics. 3. Develop, manage and implement personnel policies; develop a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) 4. As lead for the HRIS system, setup and oversee the data migration project. 5. Communicate and ensure compliance and consistency with office practices and policies and compliance with all employment related laws 6. Effectively interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all of the people-related and office management activities 7. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies 8. Make certain that all administrative systems and processes are highly reliable, finely tuned and well delivered with an aim toward pro-action rather than reaction 9. Provide outstanding guest service by being consistently helpful and courteous to all Guests & Employees. 10. Work in consultation with human resources executive director and/or human resources business partner staff to resolve highly complex issues, as needed. 11. Maintain a working knowledge of various casino policies and procedures 12. Responsible for pre-opening hotel projects 13. Assist in translation for non-English speaking Guests & Employees. 14. | Qualification Requirements: | 1. Must be Bachelor’s Degree holder in Human Resources or Hospitality related major. 2. Eight years of experience in human resources or general administration. 3. Four years of managerial experience. 4. Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner. 5. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. 6. Excellent facilitation and oral and written communication skills, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings. 7. Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information. 8. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently. 9. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, judgment, negotiating, influencing, and decision making skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. 10. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback. 11. Bilingual speaker is an advantage, especially Chinese-English speaker. 12. Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands |
