| Job Duties: | Duties include preparing engineering drawings for civil and structural design projects. Must be able to perform structural engineering design and detailing using ETABS, CONKER, WALLER, STAAD, and ENERCALC. Must be familiar with UBC 1997, IBC 2000, ACI 318-95 and AISC/ASD 9th Edition or LRFD, as they relate to design of concrete and steel structures. Must be able to use Halstead Methods Water CAD and Sewer CAD. Must have experience with three dimensional modeling and rendering with Auto CAD 2000, 3D Studio Viz, and Auto CAD 2000 Architectural Desktop. Must have the ability to produce hand drawn artist rendering of buildings and projects. Must be able to assist Project Engineers and Architects in preparing calculation, schedules, construction cost estimates, hand sketches, construction inspection and other related duties as assigned. At a minimum the candidate shall be fully capable of performing civil/structural design and detailing utilizing Auto CAD 2000 Land Development Desktop R2. |
