Job Duties: | Plan, install, test and maintain the electrical wiring of all fixtures, based on job specifications and drawings. Diagnose and correct all malfunctioning systems and components in equipment and fixtures when needed. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems; Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects and the need for repair or removal or replacement to ensure compliance with all safety & OHSA standards and regulations. Report any deficiencies to the supervisor. Other duties as assigned when not required under normal classification. Ensure the safety of the buildings, staff and public from fire by ensuring that all mandated tests and inspections are carried out while responding to emergencies. Oversee any work performed by outside forces, whether it is portion of scheduled maintenance or installation that is outsourced or major/minor repairs. Be available for on-call duty to respond to emergency situations 24 hours a day. Work with other trades to facilitate the electrical installations. Address current and future needs of all buildings within the assigned areas through regular inspections of buildings within the assigned areas. Identifies, prioritizes and recommends all required new projects, equipment replacement or preventative maintenance work on a proactive basis, to ensure uninterrupted service. |

Qualification Requirements: | Preferably specialized in electrical engineering or equivalent. Previous professional experience in electrical engineering. At least high school graduate or equivalent. Few months to 1 year experience. |
