| Job Title: | HVAC Technician |
| Job Duties: | Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. Reviewing blueprints, installing air conditioning systems, testing systems for proper functioning, performing emergency repairs, maintaining tools, ordering supplies, and making routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency. Establishes environmental systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, motors, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; completes power connections. Tests and repairs environmental systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components. Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Documents actions by completing equipment records. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. |

| Qualification Requirements: | At least 2-3 years HVAC experience working on commercial type HVAC equipment/systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization. Certified 2-year technical certificate or state approved HVAC license is an advantage. |
