Job Title: General Manager
Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of an organization or department that provides lodging and other accommodations. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Greet and register guests. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints. Monitor the revenue activity of the hotel or facility. Train staff members. Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures. Coordinate front-office activities of hotels or motels, and resolve problems. Participate in financial activities such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments. Collect payments and record data pertaining to funds and expenditures. Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging facilities. Performs other related duties assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must have knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Must knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Must knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Must be able to handle over 60 staffs and a few restaurants at the same time. Must have good knowledge in interpreting financial statements. Must be able to communicate in Japanese. Must have skills on food and beverage costing. Must have computer skills (use excel, word, outlook). Must have skills in cooking and bartending. Must have knowledge in marketing and advertisement. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to handle split shift schedule. Must have Food Handlers Certificate and Police Clearance. Must be able to work in the U.S.
