| Job Duties: | 1. Undertakes direct supervision of the activities of the department - such as: • Closing of the monthly book of accounts. • Profit and loss statement monthly reports. • Balance sheet with supporting schedules. • Completions and submission of statistical requirements for “Trend of operations”. • Fixed Assets and CIP report and schedule 2. Posts details of business transactions in the general and operating ledgers. 3. Computes the following: • Management fee. • Owner’s share. 4. Performs the reconciliation of the following: • Bank statements. • Inter - company accounts. • Owners’ accounts. 5. Prepares the following: • Monthly analysis of accounts. • Status of barter agreements, if any. • Schedules for profit budget. 6. Verifies documents evidencing disbursement of funds as to authenticity & adequacy of required supports such as: • Petty Cash Voucher. • Payment/check Vouchers. • Cash Advance Vouchers. • Application for demand draft/telegraphic transfer. 7. Conducts credit investigation so that an intelligent appraisal of the customer’s worth, character and ability to pay may be ascertained to justify extension of credit. • Plans and maintains a program for the systematic follow-up and collection of receivable in accordance with company policy, terms and payment schedules. 8. Reviews supporting documents and verify the accuracy of the balances of receivable. 9. Recommends write-off of uncollectible accounts. 10. Reports immediately any unfavorable information received affecting a customer’s credit standing so that appropriate action may be taken. 11. Sees that the established credit policy and procedures are observed. 12. Acts in coordinating or consulting capacity on credit and collection matters to other division, departments, and sections. 13. Responsible for developing and maintaining credit relationship with customers, banks the industry, credit organizations and others for the purpose of obtaining and exchanging credit and financial information. 14. Other Duties: • Maintains files, memos, policies, bulletins related to Accounting. • Ensures cleanliness and proper maintenance of work areas. 15. Checks any discrepancy of the quarterly F&B operations report, reflecting the profit and loss per restaurant outlet. 16. Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisors. |
