| Job Duties: | Plans, organizes and conducts tour packages for individual and groups. Plans itinerary for travel/or tour applying knowledge of countryside to determine best our sites, optional tour packages, accommodation among others. Arranges for transporting tour groups, equipment and supplies to tour identified area/s using land vehicles, motorboat, airplane. Explains local laws with regard to availment of various tout packages to ensure compliance. Instructs member of party I use of tour equipment and/or gear. Prepares meals for members of party through catering or bookings in hotel or other restaurants of preferred tour packages. Administers first aid to injured members of the tour group whenever applicable. My sell or rent equipment, clothing and supplies. Consults with clients to define tour and travel needs or problems with regard to itineraries and other services. Conducts studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes data to advice on or recommend the right tour packages for each client requirement/s, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology in tour operations. Advises client on tour operation, alternatives through brochures and publications containing tour information, such as local customes, points of interest, and special events occurring in various locations, or foreign country regulations, such as consular requirements and currency limitations. May negotiates contract for tour packages. Specializes in tour consulting by selling itinerary tour packages, and promotional travel incentives offfered by various travel carriers. Performs other related duties as required or assigned from time to time. |
